Lynda-Ross Vega

Picture of Lynda-Ross Vega - Co-creator of Your Talent AdvantageLynda-Ross Vega has been fascinated with what makes people tick since she was a child. Her curiosity about human diversity and ways to bring out the best in people led her to a multifaceted career in banking, technology, and behavioral consulting. She's held roles including c-suite executive, entrepreneur, business owner, consultant, coach, daughter, sister, wife, step-mom, and grandmother.

With over 35 years of experience in senior management and as a business owner/entrepreneur, Lynda-Ross is an expert at harnessing the power of perception to help individuals and organizations discover their natural talents, implement change, empower collaboration, and develop talent.

Lynda-Ross began researching and applying styles theory tools early in her career. Her passion for identifying and focusing the right talent on the right task led to her collaboration with Dr. Gary Jordan, beginning in 1983, and their development of Perceptual Styles Theory™.

Lynda-Ross is an avid reader, a foodie, and a music enthusiast. She enjoys walks with her Irish Setter Kinsey, working out at her local barre studio, hikes with friends, gardening, knitting, flower arranging, and any time spent in the woods or by an ocean.

She and her husband, Ricardo, left their corporate jobs in 1994, created their first business together, and never looked back.  Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching Premier League soccer (actually just about any kind of soccer), traveling, music, history, and live theater.

Gary M. Jordan

Picture of Dr. Gary Jordan - Co-creator of Your Talent AdvantageGary Jordan, Ph.D., has over 40 years of experience in clinical psychology, behavioral assessment, individual development, and coaching. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology—Berkeley in 1980.

Always fascinated by theories about types and styles, Gary found none of the theories that he studied integrated internal experience with observable behavior. Beginning with his doctoral dissertation and continuing through his years in private practice, he worked to create a practical, usable style theory based on perception.

In 1983 he joined forces with Lynda-Ross Vega, and together they created Perceptual Style Theory™. This revolutionary psychological assessment system provides the answers for people to tap into their natural strengths and find more meaning and satisfaction in life.

Gary is an expert at helping people understand themselves, discover their innate talents and value, and use that awareness to align their actions with their natural potential.

During his career, Gary has worked in community mental health, private practice, inpatient facilities, and business corporations. He and Lynda-Ross founded their coaching business in 1996.

Among his many hobbies and interests, Gary enjoys building furniture, teaching Shaolin Kenpo, music, reading, movies, do-it-yourself projects, and spending time with family and friends. He is also a black belt and instructor in Shaolin Kenpo. In fact, Gary and his wife, Marcia, met when she joined one of his classes!
